Slow posting this week

I’m going to take it easy this week in preparation for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, so posts will be a bit sporadic (or more than a bit).

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday – a time to think of friends and family without the attendant commercial slant of Christmas. I’m not religious anyway, so Thanksgiving seems more my kind of celebration. I can give thanks without the need to express it to a deity.
