It’s been far too long since the last Saturday Guest on Male Pouch. Let’s fix that right now!
Today’s spotlight is on Bulging11 on Spandex-Party, who reflects the styles and influences of a number of the photographers, seen here on Male Pouch: men clad in all sorts of gear, enhanced pouches, mesh, spandex, leather, fishnet, etc., etc., etc. — anything to proudly display a man’s best features.
I have my favorite photographers and amateur practioners, all of whom show great skill. Among them are Peter Berlin, Thomas Synnamon, Justin Monroe, Muletas, Joe Oppedisano, countless vintage photographers, Spandexaddict, Tax71ass, and many other fetish site members (thank you!) who have allowed me to post their self-pics on this blog.
Bulging11 says that Peter Berlin and Robert Mapplethorpe, and vintage physique photographers and studios such as AMG have been the biggest influences on his work. For example this image is a direct quote from Peter Berlin (with the slight addition of some attractive gates-of-hell rings):
Bulging11’s background is sculpture:
I trained as a sculptor so the form of a subject is important. Photography is all about light, without it there is no form. There is also the tactile sensation of caressing a cock encased in fabric, equally important to the haptic needs of a sculptor.
Regarding his models and his style, he says,
Most of the models are posing for the first time, exploring their exhibitionist tendencies and for publication in SPURT! magazine, a gay fanzine published bi-monthly devoted to underwear fetishes, to which I made unpaid contributions for over a hundred issues. It`s published from Manchester by a small group of enthusiasts on a shoe-string. From my experience, once this urge has been let out there is an obvious response in their cock. I don`t think I`ve ever photographed a flacid cock, that is one of the aspects to the imagery which is important: the proud, priapic male displaying his unique virtue. But it has to be in conflict with something, concealed, revealed, partially hidden with fabric or lips. It is the tension between these forces which makes the image. Straining, to assert it`s dominance as a fertile image. The irony there is that all the guys I`ve photographed are gay and most will never procreate ! (unlike Picasso!)
Also making regular appearances are C&B toys:
Bulging11 enjoys exploring the boundaries of masculinity and feminiinity through mixed gear — an increasingly popular trope these days.
He draws and alters existing images — for “a pervy look” —to take them in a direction beyond what was originally shown:
Of this particular look, he says, “they have to be masculine, feminine don`t do it.”
