When I turned off Captcha anti-spam checking on comments, I hoped to make it easier to make comments. (Captcha is almost unusable these days, as the text has become distorted beyond recognition.) Judging from the increased number of comments, my hope has been realized.

It just means I have to delete a couple of spam comments a day. Does any spammer really think that a blogger would approve such idiocy for posting?

Yes, the post is “in fact fastidious”, but I don’t think my readers would care to read your blog post on yeast infection.
